Pretty Good Stuff

A lot of people know that I am biased when it comes to liking YSR's music. But everyone should give me a chance here and listen to songs from Deepavali. The album has five songs and Yuvan has done a solid job.

The pick of the album is Kathal Vaithu sung by Vijay Yesudas. The song has great instrumentation(bass work is stupendous) and I just love the seconds work. Yuvan has really hit the grand slam with this one. The other songs are pretty good as well. One marked improvement Yuvan has made over the years is his mixing ability. Sounds are clear and notes can be heard with good precision. I would recommend a good set of headphones when listening to these songs.

Oram Po - is Jamshad's next movie. The name was changed from Auto , due to goverment regulations. I recently saw the trailer of this movie and fell out of my couch. It is hilarious. This movie also holds the distinction of being directed by real life couple. I would recommend you guys to watch the trailer on the web, if you dont have SUN TV.

And yes, you are biased when it comes to YSR's music. I guess it's allowed though ! :)

Hmmm, as far as I heard, 'Oram Po' describes the autorickshaw racing circuit. It's a unique theme, and I'm anticipating the movie.

I liked the Deepavali songs but somehow, was not too impressed by the Satham Podathey songs...preferred GVP's Kireedom!...
